1884 LIBERTY "V" NICKEL NGC MS64  LOVELY SILVERY GOLDEN ROSE AND A GREAT STRIKE WITH A DELICATELY TEXTURED PORTRAIT CONTRASTING WITH SMOOTH, HARD FIELDS.  A very nice coin and a tough date. An average mintage of 11,270,000, while the 5 cent piece was a workhorse of commerce at that time. Low populations noted across all MS grades at both NGC and PCGS.
