2-inch Double speed focuser
The focusing pedestal is a very important part of the astronomical telescope. It is responsible for focusing and focusing the steering system at the end of the telescope, the eyepiece or the photography system. Its bearing capacity, stability and adjustment feel directly affect the optical level of a telescope. Our workshop has studied the focusing pedestal for many years, and strives to design and manufacture a perfect focusing pedestal. This 2-inch toothed dual speed focusing pedestal was born from this!
The 2-inch toothed focusing pedestal in this studio adopts the patented design of bearing+rack. The bearing is designed to be adjustable and can be adjusted to a very high accuracy. The eight bearings are evenly distributed and stressed in all directions, with high load and zero clearance. The rack is only responsible for transmission, and will not change the feel and produce displacement because of the force. This is also the biggest feature of this focusing pedestal; In terms of dimension, the clear height is 40mm, and there are two versions of 35mm/60mm stroke (SCT only supports 35mm stroke); The body weight is about 600g; High precision Double speed fine adjustment is configured. The fine adjustment teeth can be used for synchronous belt. The Double speed fine adjustment is also the feature of this focusing seat. The fine adjustment feel is silky smooth and comparable to the American feather touch
The price of things is a little more expensive than that of other Ebay companies, but CNC workmanship, bearing capacity, optical axis stability and focusing feel are our absolute advantages. You know after using them (our studio has always been a conscientious product, and will not lower the standard to fight for price)!
Matters needing attention:
1. The Focuser can be directly compatible with ZWO EAF, and there is no need to replace special brackets
2. When the screw hole at the right focusing wheel is installed for power adjustment, only about 6mm screws can be used, otherwise the fine adjustment may be ineffectiv
