Author Biography

Sherab Chodzin has been teaching Buddhism and meditation around the world since 1973. A close friend and student of Tibetan master Chogyam Trungpa, he has edited a number of his writings and was his personal representative in Europe, where he taught widely and founded Buddhist meditation centres. He has edited and written many books and articles on Buddhism and now lives in Boulder, Colorado.Alexandra Kohn spent her childhood in Europe before moving with her family to Canada. Being the daughter of Sherab Chodzin, Buddhist teachings were an important part of her life from an early age. She has a degree in Contemporary Studies and History, an M.Phil in Psychoanalytic Studies and an M.Litt in Philosophy and has worked as an ESL teacher, a lecturer, a proofreader and librarian. She lives in Princeton, New Jersey, and enjoys yoga and traveling.Marie Cameron has a degree in fine arts, and since graduating she has been busy painting, designing and traveling. She is fascinated by the artistic expression of the Indian subcontinent which she has explored extensively. She is also inspired by the rich design of textiles, architecture and pottery from around the world. Marie lives with her husband and two children and works in a beautiful light-filled studio in her garden in Los Gatos, California.
