1924 Huguenot Commemorative Half Dollar coin graded by NGC at MS66.

COMMENTS
Premium Gem coin with excellent luster, ultra clean surfaces, and a strong strike.  This is a very nice PQ coin with all of it's originality preserved as indicated by the vintage toning.  The eye appeal is quite pleasant with no distractions such as unsightly marks or undesirably placed spots.  The toning is nice and even across the surfaces on both sides with the key device elements left in highlight.  The lustrous surfaces on this coin are in great shape with no cuts or abrasions especially in the focal areas.  This is a very nice commemorative to add to that growing set for the collector looking for premium coins for their set.

    About the Huguenot Commemorative Coin
The Huguenot-Walloon half dollar or Huguenot-Walloon Tercentenary half dollar is a commemorative coin issued by the United States Bureau of the Mint in 1924. It marks the 300th anniversary of the voyage of the Nieuw Nederlandt which landed in the New York area in 1624. Many of the passengers were Huguenots from France or Walloons from what is now Belgium; they became early settlers of New York State and the surrounding area.
