This antique watercolor landscape painting shows an old farmhouse amongst some trees with water in the foreground.  It has been beautifully painted and is signed by the artist, A. Faunay, in the lower right.  A. Faunay painted in the late 19th century and early 20th. century.  

The painting measures 8" x 15 1/4" inside the mat.  The frame measures 15" x 22".  The painting is in great vintage condition.  The gilt wooden frame has chips and scratches in the paint.  The painting is matted and covered with glass.  There are two pieces of wood at the back which were originally covered with a paper backing that is now mostly torn away.
