Southport is a town and archipelago in Lincoln County, Maine.  The population was 622 in 2020.  It includes the villages of Capitol Island, Hendricks Harbor, Newagen, Pine Cliff, Squirrel Island and West 3.  The majority of the town’s residents live on its main island, Southport Island, which is in the mouth of the Sheepscot River.

All I could find about the Rendezvous Hotel in Southport is that it was built in 1901.  It is on this card, published by “The Rendezvous” and printed by the “Albertype Co., Brooklyn”.  The card is not posted but is dated on the reverse, 1946 and has era automobiles parked at the hotel.  It is in excellent condition with minor wear on the corners and a clean, clear image and reverse.

The colors on the card may vary due to the scanner settings and screen projections.
Unless otherwise noted, I use Wikipedia, Playle's and Metropostcard for research and try to be as accurate as possible.  Corrections appreciated.

If this your card, it will be mailed promptly upon receipt of payment...... Free Shipping WorldWide.
