Historic and one of a kind lion's head seal for J.G. Jones, Justice of the Peace / Monroe County Florida (Key West).  

James G. Jones was Deputy United States Commissioner and Deputy Clerk of the U.S. Court when he died in 1905 at age 83.  He served as Mayor of Key West, Monroe County Sheriff, Monroe County Tax Collector, Justice of the Peace and U.S. Marshall.  He was born around 1822 in Canada and arrived in Key West in 1850 when his ship was wrecked on the Florida Reef.
