This is a rustic Antique Iron Betel Nut Cutter (Kacip Kecil) from Indonesia.  The item clearly shows it's age and has incised silver alloy handles.  My father purchased this cutter in the mid 1960's when he was a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S Embassy in Jakarta.  This piece mostly likely dates from later half of the 19th Century.  Indonesian Antique Betel Nut Cutters are a well documented collecting category and this is a particularly nice example.

Cutter Dimensions: 6 3/8 inches high, 1 5/8 inches wide and 1/4 inch in depth.  Weight: 2.9 ounces
