When completed plugs into the IC socket vacated by the existing 8284 clock chip and does not obstruct the adjacent ISA slot. It maybe switched between normal clock speed (4.77MHz) or turbo clock. The turbo clock speed is set by a crystal (not supplied) and determined by experimentation as all machines will vary in their capability. For example my 5160 is only stable with 21.477 MHz crystal giving a 7.16 MHz clock.

To complete the board, you will need to source a suitable low profile crystal and a 8284A clock chip.

Please note that your machine should also be fitted a faster 8088 CPU a 8088-2 (8MHz) or a NEC V20 (10Mhz).
