This is a Birmingham Stove & Range BSR, #8 Cast Iron Skillet, Early Century series. Circa 1950 - early 1960's. It is free of cracks and chips and sits flat. It has been stripped in a lye bath, cleaned and seasoned twice with Crisco in a 500 degree oven.
Measurements: 10 1/2" across the top, 8 3/4" cooking surface and is 2" deep. It is a used piece and may have utensil marks, or discoloration which will fill in with use. The cooking surface is very smooth.
