Gibson Post War Style Bell Shaped Truss Rod Covers that fits most instruments that Gibson made in the time period between World War II to about 1963.  From about 1944 (as best I can tell, but you know Gibson) until about 1963 most Gibson guitars (even banjos and mandolins) used an even wider and taller truss rod cover. These are old stock exact reproductions of those! Get them while you can! These are exactly the same shape, size and measurements than those truss rod covers with the exception of the thickness. These are about 4 thousands of an inch thinner, measuring, on average, 0.036" instead of the 0.040" that the originals did. Please see the pictures for a more complete set of measurements as well as a side-by-side picture of one of these right beside an original from the 1950s.

The diameter of the holes in for the screws to attach the truss rod cover are 0.110" and the spacing of the holes, from center to center, are 2.055" so I recommend that you measure the hole spacing on your guitar, mandolin or banjo before you order to insure that you are obtaining exactly what you need for your instrument.

These also have square edges, just like the original.

Missing your old truss rod cover and looking for one that will match? Building a reproduction guitar, banjo neck or mandolin and don’t want to settle for pretty close? This is it!

I only have a few of these from an old stockpile here in my shop and I am only selling off part of them, so get them while you can because once they are gone… they are gone!

Don’t let these get away!
