This is an original Emma Domb Prom dress or ball gown manufactured in California in the very late '50's or early 60's

Given its age it is in a compleatly wearable condition but it does have some issues.

The lining of the dress should originally have been red but has now faded to a sort of orange.

This is not noticable on the skirt but it is through the red lace bodice which now has an underlying orange tinge which shows through the red lace giving the bodice a very slightly different colour to the rest of the dress.(See Picture 2)

The acetate lining does have some holes. (Picture 5??)

This overskirt is made of gathered red net and red lace.

The skirt is very full and probably circular.

Not floor length but around 32 inches from waist to hem

Please look at the pictures of the inside of the bodice as 1 of the bones has bent at some point and there are many mends

There may even be some stitching giving  way at one of the front seams

Long side opening metal zip fully working

It's small so round about a modern size 6 / 8

Waist 26 inches

Bust approximatly 32 / 34 inch BUT Cup size is small around a B or C

Very hard to get a good representation of the colour.

Wearable example from a nice vintage designer

I've tried my best to list the faults

Any questions then please ask.
