Mid-Century Vibrant San Marino Italian Wall Art Pottery - stamped on the bottom is the makers mark "Ceramica Titino San Marino" - the scene is believed to be of the Third Tower, Montale, one of three famous castles in San Marino, and scored into the ceramic is "Rep S. Marino".

It's in good condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs, original wire is in place, so ready to hang. These types of "wall art" became popular due to early 1950s/60s European holidays, in this case San Marino, Italy. These were for the 'tourist trade' as souvenirs to take back home, in the case of the UK, and either keep for themselves or give away as presents. A lovely piece, and looks great on the wall.

San Marino is a mountainous microstate surrounded by north-central Italy. Among the world’s oldest republics, it retains much of its historic architecture. On the slopes of Monte Titano sits the capital, also called San Marino, known for its medieval walled old town and narrow cobblestone streets.
