 Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers another excellent acquisition from a recent collection purchase. A one year production, 1940  Harmony H1492, "All American" Archtop Acoustic Guitar, W/ it's original hard case. Right from a recent collection acquisition. I have gotten some great instruments, in collections this year. Great condition for it's age. 20 fret neck, bound rosewood fretboard, .009" neck relief, (bow), according to my dial indicator. .070" string action height. Plays and sounds great. Some scratches on the front, like someone who played this couldn't get their fingernails cut. There is a repaired crack up  the treble side front, beginning at the end block, going straight up under the pickguard. It must have been glued, I cannot get the sides to move against each other. There are two longitudinal braces, the run up the inside of the front, originating at the end block, and appear to go to the neck block. Tri color binding on the front, original pickguard, and headstock overlay. This guitar looks all original, with the exception of the strings.  From what I found online this was a one year production run, 1940. GREAT addition to any Harmony collection. Read my feedback, buy with confidence!
