This 1940's vintage evening dress will earn the gasp of approval as it certainly got mine when I laid my eyes on her! She is the prettiest shade of peach that glistens in the light, with boned and ruched bodice, halter tie and pleated trim at the bust-line. A tiny waist is accented with the pleated trim and skirt extends at just the right place with another row of the pleated trim. A separate slip provides some added coverage and tulle and a strapless shrug adds some coverage to the shoulders. Dress is unlined, as seen in photo the bodice lining around the bust was cut out probably to accommodate a larger size. A side metal zipper and 2 hook and eyes close off the dress.
