This is a 2" PVC diaphragm valve made by Georg Fisher Piping Systems. This valve features some great improvements on GF's older style valves - including higher flow rates, easier install and removal, and a simple housing nut construction.

Sets new standards regarding safety, efficiency, and simplicity. Instead of the commonly used four metal screws, it has a central union nut — this non-corrosive connection is characterized by homogeneous temperature behavior, an even surface pressure.

These diaphragm valves help to allow precise control via a manual handwheel with a built-in locking mechanism and position indicator. They are suitable for chemical feeding and slurry flow control. They also close by means of a flexible diaphragm attached to a compressor, which can be actuated manually or automatically. When the compressor is lowered by the valve stem, the diaphragm seals and cuts off flow.
