Charging Protection and Smart Charging
1.Overvoltage and Overcurrent Protection: The charger has a special temperature sensor that can adjust the charging voltage and current according to the ambient temperature. The circuit protection device can avoid damaging the circuit.
2.Overheating Protection: When the internal temperature of the charger exceeds a certain value, the charging current will automatically decrease. When the ambient temperature exceeds 65°C, the charger will shut down for protection. When the temperature recovers, it will automatically charge.
3.Battery Reverse Connection Protection: When the battery is connected reversely, the internal circuit of the charger will be disconnected from the battery, which will not damage the charger.
4.No-load Protection: The charger has no output when the battery is not connected.
5.Short Circuit Protection: When the output is short-circuited, the internal circuit of the charger is disconnected from the battery. Charging can only be resumed when the battery is reconnected after the fault is eliminated.
6.Plug and Forget Smart Charging: After fully charged, it automatically stops output and enters trickle mode charging, which will not overcharge the battery and effectively prolong battery life.
Precautions
To allow the heat generated by the charger to be discharged out of the car smoothly, all vents should be unblocked and the space should not be sealed.
There should be enough space near the charger to ensure ventilation and dust prevention, and to prevent dust from accumulating on the surface and affecting the heat dissipation effect.
The charger is not allowed to be disassembled. Opening the charger cover at will may cause electric shock or other damage.
To avoid damaging the charger harness, do not place objects on the charger harness or where it can be easily carved. If the wiring harness is damaged, replace it immediately.
If the AC power source requires an extension cord, please ensure that the extension cord can withstand the maximum input current of the charger, and keep the length of the extension cord within a certain limit to avoid affecting the normal operation of the charger.
For the connection line between the charger and the battery, the maximum current voltage drop should be less than 1% of the current voltage, otherwise, the charging effect will be affected. At the same time, the lead diameter should meet the output current value.
