"Rare Original" - History and Roster of Maryland Volunteers, War of 1861-5 Vol.s 1 & 2

1898 & 1899

Henry Clay Albert (1843-1908) is listed on page 388 of Volume I, enlisted May 18, 1864, Discharged October 1, 1864.  He was a carpenter from Baltimore when he enlisted.  He was an Insurance Agent in the 1870 Census, a grocer in 1880 with a wife and 4 children.  Widowed with 4 children in 1900.  He was a member of the GAR Dushane Post No 3 in Baltimore.  He is buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Baltimore.

Exterior covers have been repaired.  See photos.  Books are in nice condition considering age.
