This listing is for a CGC 9 MINT Graded Card of SPAWNING POOL FOIL a UNCOMMON LAND from the URZA’S LEGACY release in 1999

Ultra Low CGC Graded Card Population ( Only 1 of 4 in CGC 9 MINT ) with 1 higher !

SPAWNING POOL is an often overlooked but highly valuable & versatile vintage UNCOMMON LAND that is one of the infamous DUAL MANA/CREATURE land cards…

…in addition to adding one black mana to your mana pool SPAWNING POOL gives you the additional advantage option of paying 1 💀… and then becomes a 1/1 BLACK creature with regenerate until end of turn … and it STILL counts as a land !! 🤯✨🏆

An Excellent LAND Card for a SWARM / WEENIE deck strategy consideration and construction…🥇

Gorgeous Original Vintage MTG LAND ARTWORK by ROB ALEXANDER

The URZA’S BLOCK ( URZA’S Saga, Legacy & Destiny ) releases launched a slew of extremely powerful and useful cards in Rares, Uncommons and Commons … Many of these cards were eventually banned for tournaments due to the ability to win a match in the lowest number of moves ever !

This makes valuations extremely challenging for collectors as some of “Common” cards are valued considerably higher than “Rare”cards and pricing disparities are all over the spectrum…

Adding to this disparity was the introduction of FOIL CARDS for the first time into Magic The Gathering which further increased pricing valuations as foils particularly from the URZA’S LEGACY set trade at multiples of anywhere from 5x to 20x non foil versions …

The Earliest Vintage MTG FOILS are becoming increasingly scarce and harder to find in High Grade Condition and especially Professionally Graded MINT or above versions !

More information about MTG FOILS below:

FOIL CARD INFORMATION - With the Release of URZA’S LEGACY in 1999 Wizards Of The Coast introduced Foil Cards to MTG players and collectors alike through Booster Packs.

The Foil cards appeared one every few packs (taking the place of another card) with RARE FOILS appearing one per booster box.

FOIL CARD dispersion rate estimates per Wizards of the Coast:

Common Foils - 1 per every 30 - 45 MTG cards

Uncommon Foils - 1 per every 120 - 160 MTG cards

Rare Foils - 1 per every 450 - 600 MTG cards

Due to the nature of EARLY FOIL CARD production with a Metallic coating applied over card stock FOIL CARDS are notoriously difficult to find in HIGH GRADE CONDITION and even tougher to survive the rigorous PROFESSIONAL GRADING companies protocol on card grading.
