We only deliver to mainland UK addresses. We can’t deliver to parts of the Scottish Highlands. Sorry! Please check we can deliver to your postcode before placing your order.

Once we’ve got your payment, we’ll process your order and send it to our couriers on the next working day. Our couriers will then contact you to arrange delivery on a day that suits you and we’ll aim to have it with you in 3-10 working days. Please be sure to send your contact number with your order and double-check it’s correct. If we’re unable to contact you, we won’t be able to arrange delivery.

To help everything run smoothly on the day...

  • Let us know if our 7.5 tonne delivery vehicles will have any trouble reaching your address, so we can work out a plan ahead of time.
  • Let us know if the route to your room of choice has steps. Your two-person delivery team will carry your order through to your room of choice whenever possible. If they can’t safely move the appliance due to its size, weight, any steps, or hazards, they’ll deliver it to the nearest point possible.
  • Unpack and fully check your item to make sure you’re happy before accepting delivery. Once you’ve signed, any damage noticed afterwards can’t be claimed for. In the unlikely event that your item’s damaged on its way to you, please don’t accept delivery.
  • Remove anything that you’re concerned could get damaged en route to your room of choice, and place protection down on the floor if you’d like. The delivery team will make every effort to protect your appliance and home from damage during transportation, but please take any additional precautions you want to.
  • Make sure there’s a safe access passage for the appliance to be delivered. Unfortunately, your delivery team won’t be able to remove doors, door frames or windows.
  • We’re sorry, but the AO Outlet team can’t offer recycling or installation as part of our service.

Q. What is a 30-day returned electrical?
A. A 30-day returned electrical is one that’s been returned by an AO.com customer within 30 days of them purchasing it. Electricals are returned for lots of different reasons, from an unused item that was sent back because it was the wrong colour, to items that are cosmetically damaged during delivery.

Q. What do your engineers do?
A. We have a full rework centre for all the returns we receive. Our expert engineers complete a full function test on all electricals. If something fails the test, the engineer will then investigate and fix any faults before restarting the testing process.

Q. What happens after I purchase my item?
A. Once we’ve received payment, we’ll create your order and send it to our couriers on the next working day. Our couriers will then contact you to arrange delivery usually within 48 hours of dispatch and book the delivery on a day that suits you. Please double-check your contact number before sending it over to us. If we’re unable to contact you, we won’t be able to arrange delivery. Q. Can I come view the product?

A. Whether you’re unsure about a feature or need help installing your appliance, you can find instruction manuals directly on the manufacturer’s website. Sometimes they choose not to include a paper version with your product in favour of online manuals that help to reduce their carbon footprint and waste. Remember, please follow installation instructions carefully, as incorrect installation may void your warranty.

A. The 12-month return-to-base warranty will cover any manufacturing fault within that period. But please remember this only applies to the purchaser, unfortunately our warranties are non-transferable.

Q. What happens if my item develops a fault?
A. If during the 12 months your item develops a fault you can either message using the contact seller function on eBay or give us a call on 01270 754947 and our customer service team will resolve your issue quickly.

Q. Will you send out an engineer to fix my item?
A. No, we do not have any field engineers that can go out to visit you. We do not want you waiting for a part to be ordered to resolve your issue, so to keep things simple we will offer an exchange for your item.

We’ll happily take your old appliance away (like for like) when you order an item from AO Outlet, just make sure you add it at checkout. Not all products have this option.

Our experts will collect it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility. All we ask is that it’s disconnected, empty and ready to go, due to current restrictions please leave your item to be collected at your front entrance. 100% of the cost of this service relates to safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are borne by the product manufacturer.

How it works

  • We’ll collect your old appliance for you, when you add the service to your AO Outlet purchase.
  • What works for you works for us. We’ll send you a text to book in a delivery date for your order. Then our drivers will collect your old appliance at the same time.

How to prepare

Step 1
Make sure your appliance is disconnected from any water, gas or mains supplies. Fridge freezers need to be completely defrosted with any water, takeaways or milk cartons emptied out. If we’re picking up a tumble dryer, washing machine or dishwasher, don’t forget to unload that too.

Step 2
We can collect your appliance from any room inside your home, so there’s no need to move it to the front door before we arrive. Once we’ve got it, we’ll take it to our state-of-the-art recycling facility in Telford to be sorted responsibly – saving you a trip to the tip.

Please note:
Unfortunately, if your old appliance isn’t ready for collection, we will be unable to take it and will offer you a refund for the service.
