ARENA LEAGUE PROMO CARD INFORMATION -

The Arena League Alternate Art Basic Land Promo cards were awarded in order to increase participation and attractiveness in the Arena League Format beginning in 1996.

With the successful introduction of FOIL CARDS in 1999 into the world of MTG the prize structure was changed to include 1 FOIL BASIC LAND for collecting a certain number of points in matches which could be redeemed for UNIQUE Limited edition cards…

The Arena League PROMOS REWARDS program was discontinued after 2002 in favor of an alternative rewards system.

FOIL CARD INFORMATION-

Due to the nature of production ( Thin Foil overlay on card stock ) The earliest VINTAGE MTG FOIL cards are extremely difficult to come by in HIGH GRADE UNPLAYED condition and in particular PROFESSIONALLY GRADED Mint or better versions because of the stringent grading standards they apply in the grading process !
