This is a vintage replacement glass lens for a boat/marine lamp.  This measures approx 3 1/4" high. There are various chips along the front and sides.

This is thick glass. This was a barn find and has not been completely scrubbed clean. I'm not sure if this was Red at one time and has since faded or if the color was supposed to be more on the orange side.
