This is a 150 year
old Chinese Qing Dynasty styled side chair, c. 1870
The multi-panelled back rest and lower open apron in a cultured form with artistic lines and flowing curls
making it one of the favourite pieces of Chinese furniture.
It is believed to
have come from the Shandong Province on the coastal region of east China.
