Basic rules for washing silk:

Never use bleach or any bleaching agents! These damage the fibers and shorten the lifespan of your silk.
Never machine dry! High heat and the tumbling motion can damage the fibers as well.
Machine or hand wash your silk with cold water.
Air dry your silk.
Lightly iron your silk on the cool setting.
