Another unique book by Andrea Press. It's printing is outstanding on gloss/coated paper. For those of you who have owned an Andrea Press book, you know of what I speak. The book covers the topics of (1)history of submarine navigation; (2)the German U-Boat in both World Wars (primarily those in WW II), (3)U-Boat type VII C; and (4) concluding with the diorama. The amount of information including photographs, illustrations (mostly in color), a listing of commanders (with photo), information on some specific Type VII C subs, during WW II, e.g. number, emblem, commander, sinkings, launch and sunk dates) is first class. There is also a four page pull-out illustration of a Type VII C sub (with a very small tear at the top of its last page, but having no effect on the illustration). The diorama (which is shown on the cover), its pictures and information is again outstanding. I have included some some pages as examples of the book. Free CONUS media mail shipping.
