Zieher was based in Munich, (Bavaria) Germany. Between 1903 and 1906, he published a series of color post cards, each depicting different stamps of that country.
Known as the Carte Philatelique series, there are approximately 100 different postcard designs from this series. Some were printed with embossed images and some were printed flat.
