COMMENTS
High quality near Gem graded coin exhibiting real nice eye appeal.  This is a well struck specimen with crisp device elements depicting all the detail this classic coin has to offer. The coin has a nice overall honey-gold tone with non-distracting pockets of vibrant burgundy, mahogany, and magenta.  This is a nice item for the collector looking to add a mint state well preserved Oregon Trail to their collection.

Of all the 1892 to 1954 Classic Commemoratives, the Oregon Trail is one of the most popular and generally commands a premium with all else equal.  If you desire a first year Oregon Trail in your collection, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this item!

Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide.  We shot a couple sets with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos!  As eBay sellers, we want to be sure there is no mystery with coin you are buying!!!

    About the Oregon Commemorative Coin
The Oregon Trail Memorial Half Dollar was a fifty-cent piece struck intermittently by the United States Bureau of the Mint between 1926 and 1939. The coin was designed by Laura Gardin Fraser and James Earle Fraser, and commemorates those who traveled the Oregon Trail and settled the Pacific Coast of the United States in the mid-19th century.
