The pile is a full thick/plush pile, rich colors, clean, no wear indicated on rug, except on the binding and fringe. I did discover a very small eraser-size spot that can likely be removed professionally. The lower price for this rug reflects binding and spot suggested work needed. When laying down, it can be hard to see the needed binding work. I have additional images I can give you too. You are more than welcome to come and inspect prior to placing a bid.
