Item Description:

This original watercolor painting was done by Kansas artist James Fallier (1930-).  It shows a evocative landscape of golden prairie grasses on a stormy fall day.  An old barbed wire fence weaves through the painting, a farm with windmills can be seen in the distance.  It is signed in the lower left.  The painting has been nicely matted, framed and covered with glass.  It is in great vintage condition.  (**Please note there is some distortion in the photos from the reflection of light off the glass.**)

James Fallier studied at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver.  He began painting full-time in 1967 and in 1971, Fallier opened a studio and gallery in Wichita, Kansas.  He is a member of the American Watercolor Society.

Exhibitions: American Watercolor Society; National Academy of Design; National Academy of
