Flashing guide

VELUX offers a range of flashing kit options to suit different roofing profiles. Flashings are designed and required to integrate the VELUX roof window into the roofing material to ensure that the window is completely watertight. All VELUX roof windows must have a corresponding flashing kit to comply with building regulations. Ensure a perfect match by using the appropriate flashing designed for your roof material.

Important: only select the "no flashing, (you already have one)" option if the appropriate VELUX branded flashing kit will be supplied by your installer or you already have one in the right size. Please note, if you are replacing an existing VELUX roof window, you will be required to replace the flashing kit to match the new generation roof window.

VELUX EDL 2000 slate flashing for slates up to 8mm thick; suitable for roof pitches 15-90 degrees
VELUX EDP 2000 plain tile flashing for tiles up to 14mm thick; suitable for roof pitches 25-90 degrees
VELUX EDW 2000 flashing for tiles up to 120mm in profile; suitable for roof pitches 15-90 degrees

Right of withdrawal / cancellation

In order for us to identify your order, when exercising your right of withdrawal please provide your name and contact details (address, phone number and e-mail address), the order number and a description of the goods for which you wish to withdraw from the contract of sale.

Our determination of any diminished value of the goods

In order to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods you shall handle and inspect the goods: (i) with due care and (ii) in the same manner as you would typically be allowed to do in a shop. Any handling or inspection of the goods in excess thereof may result in the goods having a diminished value, which we will be entitled to deduct when reimbursing the payment received from you. The determination of any diminished value will be made on a case-by-case basis. You can open the box and inspect the fabrics and colours of the goods with due care, provided that the opening is done without wrecking the box.

If the box is substantially damaged or the products have been installed we will treat them as having a diminished value.
