A vintage theatrical frock coat made by professional costumier for use at North West Theatre. Ideal for Regency/Georgian period costume event, stage or film wear or for pirate, steampunk costumes.
In black wool with a fine ribbed pattern and trimmed with purple wool felt on the collar, cuffs and pockets. Fully lined with purple wool. The coat has black buttons down the front but not made to fasten closed as would be worn open over a waistcoat ( not included)
The coat has deep turn back cuffs which could be worn turned down to extend the sleeve length and to show off the purple wool cuff lining.
The coat has a small stand up collar lined with purple wool felt. The coat has deep pleats at the sides and single back vent so has good swish as you walk.
Size - small to medium - chest up to 38 inches with the coat open at the front - pit to pit 19 1/2 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 16 inches. Length of coat from nape of neck to hem 41 inches. Sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff 25 inches.
