This needlepoint footstool cushion was salvaged from an unsaveable base that was missing a foot and had one of the remaining feet badly damaged by water.  I measured it on the back: it is 14" by 12", and just under 2" tall.  It has a wood frame to which the needlepoint was nailed (nail heads rusted now) and black fabric applied to finish the underside.  The black fabric has faded as well with age, and there are tears in it as shown.

There are two small spots on top/side where the needlepoint is missing; personally I'd leave these as evidence of age/originality, but if desired one could always move small sections of needlepoint tucked under on the back to repair these.

In my experience you'll find many antique footstools missing the needlepoint tops before you encounter one needlepoint top missing the base, much less one done as nicely as this with good age to it.  This one is probably 100 years old or more.

This came from a former Adirondack Great Camp in Newcomb NY, near Long Lake and Blue Mountain Lake.

I generally ship the day after payment.
