Description

An Antique Coromandel Work or Sewing Box of a Sarcophagus Shape, with extensive Mother of Pearl Inlays with Floral Motifs; the Interior with a lift out Trays with compartments and lids and other Sewing accessories. A Pouch inside the lids for Silks and Cottons etc.

Original Ring handles to the sides and Original Shapely Bun Feet to the base.

Circa 1820.

 Width. 31 Cm. (12"). Height. 18 Cm. (7"). Depth. 22 Cm. ( 8.5". ).

Condition

Age related wear. Slight damage around the Keyhole. Slight damage to the moulding on one back corner. Some wear to the Interior tray and a missing lid. No Key.
