Lindy Lemon described her Iowa based clothing company called Ragtime as ‘Wearable Art’. She earned her reputation by sourcing fabric often from local op shops. I’ve only seen a few of her garments and they have all been funky, quirky and clearly in her searches she was drawn to chenille and tapestry, almost upholstery fabrics. You can be more or less certain that her pieces are original and unique. And definitely a work of art. If you appreciate repurposing, recycling and creativity in apparel , as I do, this is the jacket.

This vintage 60s tapestry chenille jacket is a unique addition to any wardrobe. The heavy jacket is designed for a big, tall man or woman with an XL size. The multicoloured striped pattern gives it a funky and retro look.

Broad shoulders

Plus size fit

2 big deep front pockets

Fully lined in a deep red self stripe fabric.

Made from chenille, the outer shell material adds to its durability and warmth. This pre-owned jacket is perfect for those who love the vintage and distinctive style. I have sold one other of her pieces, a vest, and the customer is known for his ‘look’. Get your hands on this one-of-a-kind piece before it's gone.
