[BMW special order] 1/24 BMW 535i (E34) 1990 / Matazo Kayama& Art Car / Limited production

BMW Genuine Matazo Kayama, Art Car, BMW 535i 1990 Art Car minicar.

This is a miniature BMW art car that was released as a dealer product about 20 years ago.

Matazo Kayama, who worked on this model, is the first famous Japanese painter to collaborate with BMW. In 1990, I drew a beautiful piece based on the 5 Series sedan at the time.

Starting with Alexander Calder in 1975, BMW art cars have been created by famous contemporary artists such as Frank Stella, Andy Warhol, and Ken Doan. Mr. Kayama's work this time has an extremely gorgeous and precise finish compared to those.

The miniature car he is based on is manufactured by Minichamps, which was at its peak at the time, and has a good reputation for its construction. Fully opens and closes as shown in the photo.

Matazo Kayama's art car is unlikely to be seen at auction, so we hope you will take this opportunity to consider it.
