Up for sale is a phenomenal vintage C.P.F. Estate pipe. Marked encircled C.P.F. Then Best Make on the shank. Case marked Warranted French Briar. C.P.F. Stand for Colossus Pipe Factory and started in 1851 and went to about 1920. This pipe is a huge bulldog shape, with the length mainly coming from the lovely amber stem. Amber stem has bone screw in tenon. Bulldog shape with a nicely sized bowl. Comes with original case. This pipe is mostly likely late 1800’s to very early 1900’s. In the 1900’s they started using bakelite instead of amber. This pipe is in great condition for it’s age. Has slight rim wear and darkening. Stem goes just a hair past center. Overall a wonderful solid vintage estate pipe for any collector or smoker.
