This works but is doing a common thing that older HP calculators do sometimes.

To turn it off and on and use the “on” and “arrow” buttons, you have to apply a little pressure to the lower left of the screen above the F2 button

There is probably a way to fix it but it might not be that much of a bother to some and I’d rather not open it up and mess with it.
