antique "9852" floral garland pattern silicon china (porcelain like) bread plates from booths. made in england. based on the manufacturer's back stamp or porcelain mark, i am dating these bread plates to circa 1906+ but not after 1927. pattern 9852 is characterized by garlands of pink, blue and yellows on white silicon china with a gold gilt pattern on the rim and outer edge. there is some faint crazing in the enamel. i did notice some teeny, tiny rough spots when i ran my finger tips around the outer edge. they don't look to be chips but rather manufacturing flaws. bear in mind, these are 114 year old plates. i tried to get a good shot but they are tiny and on the underside so i couldn't really get a good shot. i only noticed them when i ran my fingers around the edges. i have taken a bunch of pictures to help give you an accurate idea of the condition. please, please, please look at them and enlarge them. i always try to highlight any flaws with the pictures. they are, by far, the most important part of my ad. please allow for color variations from screen to screen. let's keep it real, colors do vary from device to device. your item has been shipped with shipping insurance. accidents do sometimes happen. if it does arrive damaged or broken, please contact me and we will work through the insurance claim process together. please be sure to include clear pictures of the damage. evidence of damage is needed to make an insurance claim. I try my best to highlight any flaws, but I may miss something by mistake. that is why I strongly encourage you to really look at all of my photos, enlarge them. the item in my pictures is the item you will be sent.
