2 x After Market Tweeter Coils For Bowers Wilkins DM 604 S3 Loudspeakers + Audio Ferro Fluid
This Listing is for a Pair of Replacement After Market Tweeter Coils + 1 x 900uL Tube of Audio Ferro Fluid.
Always fit in pairs, that way they will look exactly the same & they will also sound exactly the same.
You are buying a pair of generic replacement tweeter coils & foils (as seen on these pictures) to fit the Bowers & Wilkins DM601 S2 & S3, DM602S2 & S3, DM603 S2 & S3, DM604 S2 & S3 & DM605 S2 & S3 Loudspeakers.
They will also fit many other Bowers & Wilkins Loudspeakers.
They are a very good replacement for your old blown or dented Tweeters.
Top Tip: Before you first open the Tweeter up make sure that you mark the position of both parts of the Tweeter, they slot together in a certain place & marking them before opening them will save you loads of time & agro later on.
Dependant on when exactly your Tweeters were made, these will either slot straight into place or you will find they are about 1.5mm wider that the slot for them.
If they are slightly wider Carefully trim the Edge with a Sharp Craft Knife.
Then put a very thin edge of superglue around the edge of your plastic tweeter surround (use the tip of a cotton bud) & then place the tweeter coil - foil in place using the magnet part of your complete unit to line it up while the glue sets.
You will need the following tools to fit these.
A Philips Screwdriver (Small - Medium Head)
A Flathead Screwdriver (Small - Medium Head)
A Soldering Iron & Solder.
Some Superglug & a Cotton Bud.
These replacement Tweeter Coils & Foils can be used with many Bowers & Wilkins Loudspeakers.
You will need a steady hand, a fair degree of common sense (like do not glue into place until you have made sure it fits together correctly) & a few minutes spare time when fitting these.
Please Remember: They are Very Delicate, No Returns on any Coils that you Damage Whilst Fitting Them.
If you are not still not sure about fitting these, in the first instance have a look on Youtube, you will be able to find videos on there showing what to do.
