4 Cased Large Silver Fishing Flies Menu Holders, Chester 1922, Grey & Co
Very rare set of 4 sterling silver menu holders, each having a fishing fly set into them behind glass , the flies are all hand-painted watercolours and thought to possibly just be a one off set possibly made for a special order.
They are hallmarked from Chester in 1922 with the makers mark being that of Grey & Co.
They come with original case and are in very nice order, the case does show external wear and mostly to the base area.
They are of 2 sizes, 2 measure 71mm in diameter and 2 measure 62mm.
A wonderful set, both rare and desirable.
