This rare  hard to find Rochester 2-barrel carburetor was made for a 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle and features a mechanical choke type. This needs to be rebuilt,, I removed it from my 65 Chevelle Malibu with a small block V8 283 engine because the engine had hesitation if I gave it too much gas. If I eased into the gas it was fine and also ran fine at cruising speeds. With a new Carburetor the car ran perfect which tells me this Carburetor just needs to be rebuilt. It is a reliable and high-quality original equipment option for those in need of a replacement carburetor.
