1920s F-5 Style Lloyd Loar Replica mandolin Fingerboard. Crafted with high-quality ebony or Indian Rosewood.  Pre slotted and profiled with a scale length of 13-15/16". Unlike the originals, this fingerboard has fret slots that are mathematically laid out, and offers a much better opportunity to play in tune.  You'll know what I mean if you've ever played, owned or worked on an original Gibson F-5 from the 1920s.

These are proudly Made in the United States right here in our shop in Virginia, this fingerboard will give you an accurate head start on your project.

These are precision, CNC mase and each one is exactly the same as the others, right down to a thousandth of an inch.  Once you work out your fixturing and jigs on one, you’ll be good to go on all the rest.

Choose from Right Handed or Left Handed fingerboard in either a traditional 29 fret or 20 frets to make it easier to omit the frets on the "Florida" or to soop the fingerboard in that area if you like.

The cost of Ebony has gone up considerably in the past few years, and we do have a good stock of it for now, but we also offer these fingerboards in Indian Rosewood at a lower cost for your consideration.
