The condition of the lamps ar very good for their age, there is some minor superficial wear and small chips to the paint finish here and there. They are structurally sound, and in good working order.

Brothers Louis and Francois Moreau were sculptors from Dijon, France. Louis worked in bronze and metal sculpture while Francois was a painter and sculptor. The molds from the Moreau Brothers were hidden from the Nazis during WWII. After the war, J. B. Hirsch went to Europe and bought the molds and brought them to America and started a company called Collection Francaise”.
