Offered for sale is a beautiful glazed ceramic MUG made in the shape of an elephant. It was made by Frankoma for the 1971 Republican campaign.  It is made from reddish terra cotta ceramic, with a matte-finished black glaze outside, and a smooth white glaze inside. The bottom is marked FRANKOMA as shown in the third picture.  It was made in Oklahoma, U.S.A.

The mug stands 3 3/4 inches (9.5cm) tall, and measures 2 7/8 inches (7.3cm) in diameter at the rim.

This mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or wear. The glaze has no visible fading or discoloration.
