7mm NARROW GAUGE – ETCHED BRASS DIESEL LOCO BODYSHELL – for the Model Power Plymouth Chassis

This series of kits have gone back to the basics of our original range and produced a range of basic diesel locomotive bodyshells to fit ready to run chassis. These are designed so they are accessible to the novice modeller but will also be useful to the more experienced modeller as the starting point for a model. We have produced freelance designs, although they are all loosely based on prototype designs. This allows us to adapt them to use commercially available chassis. The first models are all smaller locomotives as from experience, we have found larger and more complex designs do not sell despite being requested.

To fit in with our current production and keep ever rising costs reasonable all runs will be very limited [between 6 and 12 units] . They may not be repeated, although we may produce similar variants.

The pictures are of pre-production parts, and the models are not fully assembled or completed. This is so we can use them to plan future designs, and we can not complete our models until we run another batch of parts.

Parts are etched brass, which can be either glued or soldered. with a turned brass  air horn. Extra detailing can be added to your taste.

We have sized these parts for the Model Power Plymouth chassis. However, we are sure that they will fit other chassis. To help you with this, the cab is 43mm long x 37mm wide x 55mm high. The bonnet is 26mm high x 32mm wide x 54mm long .
