Offered here is a beautifully presented ex- Royal Navy DC Potentiometer, housed in an excellent mahogany, dovetailed construction chest. Unfortunately, one component is missing, the zero finder. Also , this item is untested. It was calibrated in 1975. The re-calibration is 48 years overdue  !!😄. Calibrated at HM dockyard, Portsmouth.

Manufactured in 1963, it is in excellent cosmetic condition. There is some pitting to the chromework, and very slight wear and tear marks to the veneer. There is a small piece of veneer missing from the corner of the lid ( see photo).

The electric components are in very good condition, with minimal dust or dirt ( see photos). The test leads are present, however, not the power supply lead. It weighs 20lb and the box is 40cm x 27cm x 21cm high . There is one rubber pad missing from the back, and three pads missing from the bottom. The lid is removable. Non-original screws are retaining the unit into the box , and securing the hinges.
