This is apparently a used universal joint based on what looks like tool marks on one end.

Overall Length: 2 3/4"

Bore Type: Finished

Material: Steel

This was in an old toolbox, so there are no more specs.

Markings - "UNION GEAR &SPROCKET CO. QUINCY, MASS. J-750-B DATE 5-76"

The joint swivels easily but binds a little when it is put at an angle that it couldn't work in anyway.
