This listing is for a dramatic collector plate by Frank Miller entitled "Bridal Veil Fall" which is the Third Issue in the "Thundering Waters" collection for the Bradford Exchange. This limited edition 8 1/4-inch plate is hand numbered and in excellent condition.
The official plate description says in part: Deep in the heart of Yosemite National Park, where eagles soar and the pure air is rich with the scent of towering pine and juniper, lies one of nature's most awe-inspiring sights. This is the magnificent Bridalveil Fall, cascading in one unbroken, breathtaking plunge of 620 feet over a worn tumble of ancient boulders. An impenetrable wall of solid rock in stratified colors provides an impressive setting for the waterfall and magnifies the sound of its thunderous voice.
As you can see in the photo, the colors are vibrant and the attention to detail is very nicely done making this plate a fabulous gift choice or neat addition for a collector.
