It worked fine when I tested it but understand this is a vintage electronic and sold as-is. Typically vintage cassette decks may need the drive belt replaced to operate optimally, so assume that might be needed in the future.  I used this DAT deck a lot to test a lot of DAT tapes and never experienced any issues with it at all.

I bought this from the original owner’s estate sale and it appears he took very good care of his electronics.
