Typed letter in untranslated German from 1981 with the military career assignments and dates. Signed in black felt tip ink by Franz Bredemeyer. Minor creasing throughout, otherwise, in very good condition. 

(1913-1985) Franz Bredemeyer was a highly decorated Oberfeldwebel in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
